New club secretary at Bulls
21st March, 2017
AFC Mansfield have announced that Paul Hunter will be their new club secretary for next season.
Paul, who is a born-and-bred Lincoln lad, played local football and was a local club secretary for as many years as he can remember whilst he was also a match official for over twenty-five years including in the NCEL.
Since 2000, he has been the registrar at the Central Midlands League where he dealt with on average around four thousand registrations, correspondence from forty-odd clubs, and communications from hundreds of club officials each season.
He said: "I would like to thank AFC Mansfield for this opportunity in becoming the club secretary from season 2017/18 onwards. I really am looking forward to getting back into club football.
"The key for me is to communicate, be approachable and have a smile on your face. The reason I have come back into club football from being on a league management team is this.
"AFC Mansfield have people who love the game. Guys, I love the game and the day-to-day challenges it brings. That is what I have missed."
