Points deduction for Retford United

Retford United have been deducted three points for fielding an ineligible player during a Toolstation NCEL Premier Division match earlier this season.

Adam Valente played for them whilst unregistered in a game at Worksop Town on 3rd September, 2016, which Retford won 3-0.

As per FA National League System Rule 6.9, the points gained in that fixture are to be deducted from Retford's total and a 100 fine has been imposed.

The fourteen day window of appeal to the FA has ended without one being lodged by the club so the deduction will now be included on the Premier Division table with immediate effect.
