Carmody becomes Welfare boss
7th September, 2016
Armthorpe Welfare have announced that Michael Carmody is the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side's new manager.
He joins from Division One outfit Selby Town where he was coach and will meet his new players for the first time on Thursday evening.
His debut in the dugout will be in the Buildbase FA Vase First Qualifying Round match at home to Congleton Town two days later.
Carmody replaces Brian Johnson who stepped down as boss last month after three years in charge.
His first aim will be to move Armthorpe away from the foot of the Premier Division table having lost their opening seven matches of the season.
