Colley becomes Shirebrook boss
12th October, 2016
Shirebrook Town have announced that Karl Colley has become the new manager of the Toolstation NCEL Division One side.
The news came after Tuesday night's 1-1 home draw with Hall Road Rangers left the Langwith Road outfit in the bottom two of the table and without a win in nine games in all competitions.
He replaces Rob Poulter - who began the season as assistant to Russ Eagle before his departure - and Craig Denton with Shirebrook wishing the pair well for the future.
Colley told the club's website: "I am delighted to be taking my first steps into management with Shirebrook.
"I will bring back passion and desire and will make the team hard to beat.
"I aim to make Shirebrook a fortress and get them back where they belong - fighting for promotion."
Colley's first game in charge will be the local derby at home to Ollerton Town on Saturday.
