The lead at the top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division and Division One tables for Cleethorpes Town and AFC Emley, respectively, has grown after they both won their opening games of 2017 this week.
Cleethorpes beat bottom-placed hosts Barton Town Old Boys

Andrew Taylor put them ahead on 56 minutes before an own goal and then a late Marc Cooper penalty sealed the win that puts them twelve points ahead of second-placed Pickering Town

Robert Chipps had broken the deadlock for the Pikes before half-time but Nicky McNamara snatched a point for the visitors with an equaliser in the 89th minute.
There were defeats for fifth-placed Handsworth Parramore

with Parramore going down by a single goal at AFC Mansfield
