It was another tight Buildbase FA Vase clash between Toolstation NCEL rivals Hemsworth Miners Welfare and Glasshoughton Welfare but it was Hemsworth who claimed a spot in the First Round Proper following their replay in midweek.
Neither side could be separated after a further 120 minutes of football - finishing 1-1 with Richard Collier's first half strike for Glasshoughton cancelled out just before the interval by Dominique Blair for the hosts.
It went to a penalty shoot-out which Hemsworth won 3-2 to become the twelfth representative from the league in the next stage which takes place towards the end of October.
In the Premier Division, Liversedge returned to the top of the table with an 11-0 annihilation of visitors Barton Town Old Boys, Joe Walton struck four times whilst there was a hat-trick for Rhys Davies and a brace each for Harrison Blakey and Vaughan Redford as Sedge raced into a nine-goal lead by half-time.
Thackley briefly took third spot from Albion Sports, a point off the summit, on Tuesday night as Ryan Farrell's two penalties earned them a 2-0 win at Retford United.
But, Sports regained their position with a 3-0 win on Wednesday night at home to Parkgate, Karl Hall, Rhys Jenkinson and Daniel Facey with the Lions' goals.
Bottesford Town remain fifth as, despite a double from Mark Simpson for visitors Garforth Town, the home side claimed a 4-2 victory, courtesy of goals from Elliot Broughton, Lee Ridley, Jack Cross and Daniel Boulton.
Bridlington Town came from behind to win 3-1 at Harrogate Railway Athletic whilst Rainworth Miners Welfare survived a late scare to beat hosts Athersley Recreation 3-2 as the home side struck twice in the last ten minutes.
And, bottom side Armthorpe Welfare got their first point of the campaign with a 1-1 draw at Maltby Main but were denied all three by a late equaliser from Steve Hopewell.
Three sides are now at the top of Division One on twenty points after varying fortunes for the leading teams.
Penistone Church head the pile following their 3-3 draw at Hallam where Jake Currie opened the scoring for the home side on five minutes but the visitors led at the break thanks to strikes from Dale Kelly and Daniel Joynes.
The goals continued to rain in after the interval with Christian Savage bringing Hallam level, Jack Moore restored Penistone's advantage but Tom Roebuck made sure the spoils were shared with thirteen minutes remaining.
Penistone go above Winterton Rangers who went down 2-1 at home to AFC Emley, Joshua Batty putting them ahead early on but Ashley Flynn and Jordan Corduri scored in the last quarter-of-an-hour to snatch the points.
And, Knaresborough Town climb to third after Blaine Hobson and Tom Hasketh secured a 2-0 win for them at basement side Westella & Willerby.
A Mark Bett brace helped Campion to a 3-1 home victory over Nostell Miners Welfare whilst Ollerton Town claimed their second win of the season, Joshua Bowkett and Brandon Shaw netting to beat visitors Eccleshill United, 2-0.
In the Derbyshire Senior Cup, meanwhile, Shirebrook Town bowed out at the First Round stage with a 1-0 home loss to New Mills.
