The management board of the Toolstation NCEL are deeply saddened by the news of the death of Brian Bradley and his wife Judith in a motorway crash on Thursday afternoon.

It is thought that the car that was being driven by Brian left the M1 carriageway between Rotherham and Meadowhall, colliding with a tree.

Tributes have been pouring in from colleagues and friends of Brian who was a well-known figure in football around the Sheffield area.

He was a life member of the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA where he had formerly been a director and treasurer.

He had also written columns for the Sheffield Telegraph, did radio and internet reports and commentaries on Doncaster Rovers during decades of service to the game and he had also been appointed president of the H-K-L North Midlands Development Football League in the past week.
