Macron NCEL Division One side Selby Town have announced that Stephen Bodle has stepped down as manager to take a break from football due to other commitments.

The remainder of the current management team, Lee Needham and Dave Winter, will remain in their positions and take control of first-team affairs, the Robins have confirmed.

A statement released on social media said: "Stephen has given his time, effort and commitment to the club, and we are grateful for everything he has contributed during his time in charge.

"We would like to wish him all the very best for the future and hope he enjoys a well-earned break.

"Football management requires a huge amount of time and dedication, often behind the scenes, and we thank Stephen for the work he has put into representing the Robins."
