South Leeds part company with Cartman
30th August, 2026
Macron NCEL Division One side South Leeds have announced that they have accepted Nathan Cartman's resignation from his position as their manager.
The news comes after their 6-1 loss at Goole AFC on Friday night that leaves them rooted at the bottom of the table with only one point accrued from their opening eight games.
It brings to an end a short spell in charge for Cartman who took over the reins in April.
A statement released on social media said: "We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Nathan for all of his effort, time and commitment during his short time with the club.
"Unfortunately, things haven't worked out as we had all hoped this time but Nathan leaves with our best wishes and we wish him every success for the future.
"Thank you for everything Carts, one of football's good guys!"
Chairman Reece Mudd will take over the role of manager on a caretaker basis until a replacement has been found.
