Barton Town’s Emirates FA Cup adventure continues whilst Dearne & District won the top two clash in the Premier Division on another busy afternoon of Macron NCEL action on Saturday.

The Swans defeated their second Pitching In Northern Premier League opponents this season to make it through to Third Round Qualifying in the FA Cup.

Joe Wood’s double helped them to a well-deserved 3-1 home win over Boldmere St Michaels with Grant Tait putting the icing on the cake with their third in stoppage time.

Frickley Athletic were also in knockout action as they progressed in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup with a 5-0 win at AFC Bentley.

Joshua Dacre’s early opener was added to by an Elliott Andrew brace and one each for Luke Williams and Liam Flanagan in their Second Round clash.

In the Premier Division, Dearne are the new leaders having leapfrogged Bottesford Town following a 2-1 home victory over the Poachers.

Henry Moore put the visitors ahead in the 50th minute but Owen Fieldsend quickly restored parity and Jamie Austin got what proved to be the winner midway through the second period.

Philip Watt and Alans Voskresenski were the scorers as Retford United won 2-1 at Campion to climb into third, with Corey Billy grabbing a consolation for the hosts in the 83rd minute.

The Badgers go above Worsbrough Bridge Athletic who were beaten 2-1 at Handsworth despite taking the lead in the opening seconds through Samuel Awty.

Their advantage lasted until the 65th minute before Mitchell Dunne’s equaliser and a late Luke Mangham strike ensured all three points stayed with the Ambers who move up into seventh.

Knaresborough Town now complete the top five following their 3-0 win at home to Horbury Town, Benjamin Gelder, Jake Turnbull and Alex Ingham with their goals.

Retford FC drop to sixth after their 1-1 home draw with Golcar United, an Alfie Wilkinson own goal rescuing them a point after Isaac Baldwin’s ninth-minute opener for the visitors.

On an afternoon of draws in the Premier Division, there were five in the nine matches played, four goals were shared between hosts Parkgate and Penistone Church with their visitors Rossington Main and Pickering Town, respectively.

Alexander Russell and Alexander Asaba twice had Parkgate in front but Adam Watson and then Harry Wilson levelled for Main.

Joseph Bhaskaran and George Thewlis had the Pikes 2-0 up in their game by the nineteenth minute but Church rallied in the latter stages with Kieran Ryan and William Heath ensuring the spoils were shared.

It was also a 2-2 scoreline at Cougar Park as Craig Billington and Connor Erangey netted for hosts Keighley Town after Tadcaster Albion had taken an eleventh-minute lead through Daniel Davy.

The home side were denied though their first win of the season when Oliver Norman converted a 76th-minute penalty to level for the Brewers.

And, Alfie King ensured a point for Thackley in a 1-1 draw at Albion Sports after Lewis Waddington had put the hosting Lions in front.

In Division One, leaders Brigg Town have made it nine league games unbeaten with a 1-0 win at Leeds UFCA, Oakley Hill with the decider in the 35th minute.

The Zebras are three points clear of Field Olympic who move up into second following their single-goal win at home to Wakefield AFC, Kieron Batey netting midway through the opening period.

Goole AFC were the only top five side to drop points as they were beaten 4-1 at home by Armthorpe Welfare to fall to third.

Callum Brooks scored for the Vikings, but Cole Patrick had already struck twice for the visitors and then Thomas Joynt’s penalty and a late goal for William Mendonca ensured it was the away side’s afternoon.

Wombwell Town and Selby Town remain fourth and fifth, respectively, after they both picked up wins.

Josh Brown and Edward Agnew were the scorers in their 2-0 home victory over Hemsworth Miners Welfare.

A Maximillian Bauer double helped Selby prevail 3-1 at South Leeds, Harry Clapham with the other goal whilst Kieran Haigh converted a penalty for the hosts.

LIV’s 4-1 home win against Route One Rovers lifts them into sixth, James Nichols netting twice with a goal each for Jake Harman and Brodie Selman.

Rovers drop to eighth, overtaken by their hosts and Armthorpe, whilst Wakefield fall to ninth after their defeat.

Winterton Rangers were 2-0 up at home to Ilkley Town with five minutes to go, Oliver Hakner and Jacob Hill finding the net either side of the interval.

But, Prince Attakorah gave the visitors hope in the 85th minute before Auzair Khan grabbed an injury-time equaliser as their clash finished in a 2-2 draw.

Appleby Frodingham picked up a big 3-2 win at fellow strugglers Immingham Town, despite letting a 2-0 lead slip.

Luke Bullement and Kyle Simpson put them in control, but Joshua Tasker’s double brought Immingham back level before Ryan Bonser popped up with the winner in the 62nd minute.

It leaves App Frod still in the bottom two, but they are now only behind Immingham on goal difference.

Alex Burton, Harry Bandeira and Sam Clothier were the scorers as Harrogate Railway Athletic won 3-1 at home to Crowle Colts and go above their visitors into fourteenth.

And, it was stalemate at the Chesterfield Poultry Stadium as Club Thorne Colliery’s home clash with Athersley Recreation was the weekend’s only goalless game.
