Barton Town are the only Macron NCEL side left in this year’s Emirates FA Cup after a fantastic victory over North Ferriby in midweek.

The Swans earned a chance to take on their Pitching In Northern Premier League opponents at home after battling out a goalless draw at the weekend.

And, they took full advantage as they defeated their visitors 2-0 with goals towards the end of each half from Thomas Waudby and David Earl to claim a much-deserved win.

They host Boldmere St Michaels in Second Round Qualifying a week on Saturday but sadly Tadcaster Albion were unable to join them at the next stage in their replay.

They were beaten 2-0 at home by Lancaster City in a tightly fought contest with a side two divisions above them in the National League System.

In the midweek Premier Division action, Dearne & District are top of the table after Adam Baskerville’s 73rd-minute strike earned them a 1-0 home victory over Thackley.

They go above Bottesford Town who went down by a single goal at Handsworth, Alfie Dodsworth’s early decider for the Ambers lifting his side to eleventh in the standings.

Third-placed Worsbrough Bridge Athletic have lost a little ground on the summit as they were beaten 1-0 away at Retford FC.

Rory Coleman’s first-half stoppage-time penalty separated the sides with the Choughs moving up into fourth.

Knaresborough Town’s 4-0 win at bottom side Keighley Town sees them up to sixth, Jack Lazenby converting a couple of spot kicks whilst Samuel Leverett and Jack Dyche also found the net for the visitors.

Luke Jefferys, Patrick Sykes and Mark Ferguson were the scorers as seventh-placed Campion overcame Frickley Athletic 3-2, Elliott Andrews with both of the goals for the away side.

Albion Sports now complete the top eight as Aran Basi, Talent Ndlovu and Hass Gorji ensured a 3-0 home victory for the Lions over Parkgate.

And, Oliver Nowak’s injury-time leveller shared the spoils for Rossington Main with hosts Penistone Church in a 1-1 draw after Jack Cawthorne had given the home side an early lead.

In Division One, leaders Brigg Town are four points clear as they prevailed in their top versus bottom clash.

But, it proved a lot closer than the table would have suggested as the Zebras needed an injury-time winner from Joshua Batty to take the points.

Earlier, Adam Drury had put them ahead in the 44th minute but Nathan Stephenson levelled the scores for hosts South Leeds.

Jack Warner’s double, added to goals in the opening ten minutes from Liam Owen and Ross Duggan, saw Goole AFC to a 4-1 win at Leeds UFCA that moves the Vikings up into second.

And, Wombwell Town are now fourth following their 3-1 home victory against Wakefield AFC.

The visitors went ahead in the fourth minute through Aristides D’Abrew Cunha but Sam Finlaw restored parity towards half-time, and Alhassane Keita struck twice in the second half to secure the points.
