Bottesford Town took advantage of a defeat for Deane & District to move three points clear of them at the top of the Macron NCEL Premier Division in midweek.
Clayton Bryant’s 81st minute decider secured the Poachers the single-goal victory at Horbury Town whilst Dearne went down 2-0 at home to Barton Town.
Danny Earl struck early on for the Swans before Craig King sealed the win when he converted a penalty with ten minutes remaining as Barton cement themselves in fourth place.
Retford United have moved up into fifth after their goalless draw at home to Tadcaster Albion, the point being enough for the visiting Brewers to climb to fifteenth.
Iren Wilson and Bradley Hexall put Retford FC 2-0 up at home to Thackley but Marcel Stephiewski netted twice in the second period to ensure the spoils were shared.
The Choughs are now sixth whilst the Dennyboys remain next-to-bottom but are now three points clear of basement side Keighley Town.
And, Campion now complete the top seven as a brace each for Ewan Gregson and Sonny Whittingham earned them a 4-3 victory at Albion Sports.
Lewis Waddington, Talent Ndlovu and Joseph Poxon got on the scoresheet for the hosting Lions but they could not find a late equaliser and stay fourteenth.
In Division One, third-placed Goole AFC missed out on a chance to close the gap a little on leaders Brigg Town as they were beaten 1-0 at home by LIV.
Eric Onyeka found the net early in the second period to give the visitors the victory that lifts them up into ninth.
Bubacary Conteh Samateh popped up in stoppage time to grab a 2-1 win for Route One Rovers at Harrogate Railway Athletic.
Lucas Stephens had broken the deadlock for them in the 66th minute before Elliot Holmes quickly restored parity for the Rail who stay fifteenth whilst Rovers are now eighth.
And, six goals were shared between South Leeds and their visitors Club Thorne Colliery.
Emmanuel Amissah rescued a point for the home side after Deven Hannan, Jackson Yates and Wilfey Woodham had seemingly given Thorne the victory.
Mark Ferguson and Charlie Parker were also scorers for Leeds who stay bottom and Thorne are now twelfth.
