Three more Macron NCEL sides have made it through to the Preliminary Round of the Emirates FA Cup after winning their replays in midweek.

Horbury Town and Campion defeated league rivals whilst Tadcaster Albion picked up a victory on their travels to North West Counties League side Glossop North End.

The Brewers broke the deadlock in the 54th minute when Spencer Harris converted a penalty before Oliver Green made sure with their second as the game edged towards stoppage time.

Horbury were 3-0 winners at Golcar United with all the goals coming in the second half from Gibril Bojang, Joe Jagger and Samuel Awty.

And, Campion won by the same scoreline at home to Frickley Athletic, sealing the tie by half-time with strikes from Ewan Gregson, Patrick Sykes and Sonny Whittingham.

But, there was frustration for Dearne & District who held visitors Runcorn Town to a goalless draw before bowing out 4-1 on penalties.

Meanwhile, the final two ties in the opening round of the JCP Construction NCEL Cup in memory of James Hitchcock were played with Route One Rovers and Harrogate Railway Athletic booking their places at the next stage.

Zak Khan got all of Rovers’ goals to take his tally to twelve as his side won 5-3 at Ilkley Town.

Dan Clark-Coates, Clarke Doughney and Mark Hoban struck for the hosts who tried to mount a late challenge but it was ultimately in vain.

Alex Burton pounced in stoppage time to send the Rail through 2-1 at Winterton Rangers after Tom Pindar’s equaliser on 88 minutes had seemingly taken the game to spot kicks.

Worsbrough Bridge Athletic are the new early leaders in the Premier Division as their 6-1 home victory over Keighley Town saw them leap to the top of the standings.

Shaiveb Masood gave an early lead to the visitors who are still looking for their first win of the season but Harrison Marvin and Charlie Austerfield ensured it was the Briggers who led at the interval.

Marvin netted his second before Juninho Blake, Lloyd Smith and Jake Squires added to the home side’s advantage in the last twenty minutes.

Iren Wilson struck twice for Retford FC who won 3-0 at Parkgate, Nicolantonio Degirolamo with the other goal for the Choughs who climb to fifth.

Parkgate, meanwhile, have yet to secure a point alongside Pickering Town who were beaten 4-1 at Rossington Main.

Reece Fielding’s hat-trick helped Main to their first win of the campaign with Bradley Grayson also scoring for the hosts and Michael Coulson finding the net for the Pikes.

Penistone Church and Knaresborough Town are up to sixth and seventh, respectively, after away wins.

Nathan Keightley scored twice for Church as they beat Thackley 2-1 whilst Samuel Leverett, Slater Barkham-Barnes and Aaron White ensured a 3-1 victory for Knaresborough at Retford United.

In the only Division One game played in midweek, it was honours even between LIV and Armthorpe Welfare as they shared four goals.

The home side led 2-0 at the break, courtesy of a Ryan Whincup brace, before Welfare, who had previously won all three of their league games, rallied to take a point.

Bayley Lowe gave them hope in the 51st minute before an own goal in stoppage time secured them the draw that moves Armthorpe to the top of the table.
