Winterton Rangers have announced that Robbie Start has become the new manager of the NCEL Premier Division side with immediate effect.

He takes over from Lee Ridley and Steve Ridley whose time in the dugout has come to end with the West Street outfit confirmed to finish in the relegation zone.

Rangers have two games left in their season to try and move off the bottom of the table and give themselves any chance of a reprieve should any free spots appear at Step 5 in the FA's National League System in the summer.

Start's first game in charge sees Winterton travel to Campion on Saturday followed by a home game against Knaresborough Town to complete their season the following weekend.
