Fores-Chambers Joins Staveley
24th February, 2008
Staveley Miners Welfare have moved quickly to overcome the blow of a number of injured and suspended players by strengthening their squad.
20-year-old Kyle Fores-Chambers, who had been at UniBond Premier side Worksop Town earlier this season, has joined the Inkersall Road outfit.
A spokesperson for the club said: "With experience at both Sheffield academies and a regular reserve place at Sheffield Wednesday whilst there on a YTS contract, Kyle has played in various positions down the right.
"He fits the clubs ethos of providing youth with an opportunity to shine at the club along with several Under-19 players who are also close to continuing their push for first team recognition.
"Indeed, a quarter of the places in our first-team line-ups this season have been taken by players from the Staveley Miners Welfare Under 19 squad.
"That demonstrates Staveley's commitment to affording youth every opportunity."
