Yorkshire Amateur have moved off the bottom of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division after a 1-0 home win over Golcar United in midweek.Jamal Stewart struck the vital goal on the hour mark that lifts the Ammers out of the basement for the first time since towards the start of September.
They are replaced at the foot of the table by
Goole AFC who, despite a brace from Bradley Kerr, were beaten 4-2 at
Winterton Rangers.
Josh Walker's hat-trick and a goal from Paul Grimes gave the hosts the winner that lifts them to seventh.
Division One leaders
Campion are now six points clear at the summit but they were given a scare at home by bottom side
Parkgate.
The visitors raced into a 2-0 lead, courtesy of a Ross Duggan penalty and an Alexander Hardwick strike.
But, the home side rallied with Daniel Keane halving the deficit just before half-time and Patrick Sykes scoring an equaliser midway through the second period.
Then, with three minutes remaining, Sykes grabbed his second to keep Campion's perfect record at home whilst Parkgate remain seven points adrift.
Billy Mole and Daniel Hernandez netted for
Wakefield AFC who climb to sixth following their 2-0 win at
Selby Town whilst a Tawheed Ahmed double helped
Nostell Miners Welfare to a 4-2 victory at
Beverley Town.
There were five Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup First Round ties involving NCEL sides with
Maltby Main and
Handsworth progressing at the expense of league rivals.
Frederick Tracey scored three as Maltby won 4-2 at
Frickley Athletic and
Handsworth were 3-2 victors over visitors
Hallam with a quickfire double around the hour mark from Mitchell Dunne securing the home side's place in the Second Round.
Donae Lawrence, Joe Jagger, Joel Clegg and Caden McGrath were the scorers as
Emley AFC beat Oughtibridge War Memorial 4-0.
And, there were goals for Jason Davis, Charlie Barks, Ben Gelder and Rhys Scott in
Hemsworth Miners Welfare's 4-1 home victory over Dodworth Miners Welfare.
Swallownest, however, bowed out on penalties after a 1-1 draw with visitors
Stocksbridge Park Steels, Oliver Grady with their goal before the away side went through 4-3 on spot kicks.
Harrogate Railway Athletic were beaten 6-0 at Ilkley Town with three of the hosts' goals coming in the final five minutes as they turned the screw late on.
Glasshoughton Welfare and
Albion Sports prevailed in their West Riding County Cup First Round ties at NCEL opposition.
Adam Walsh grabbed the only goal of the game as Glasshoughton went through at
Eccleshill United in a victory that will boost their confidence for their league campaign.
It finished 3-3 between
Garforth Town and Sports with James Burgess, Rinor Ejupi and Lee Turner finding the net for Garforth whilst Hass Gorji scored a hat-trick for the Lions who won 2-0 in the shoot-out.
Meanwhile,
Ollerton Town took the lead at home to Nottingham Forest Under 21s in the Second Round of the Notts Senior Cup, Nathan Murr with their third minute opener.
Forest quickly equalised and the scores remained level until the 80th minute when the away side grabbed another to go through 2-1 in front of a crowd of 310, the highest of midweek.
