Macron NCEL Premier Division side Penistone Church have announced that they are looking to get over a thousand spectators for next month's home game with Golcar United.

They are urging people to come to the Parker Roofing Memorial Ground on Saturday 18th October, 2025, and be part of their all-time record attendance - if successful, it would be their first four figure crowd in their 119 year history.

Called the 1,000 Fans Fun Day, it all begins at midday with junior matches before the men's first team game kicks off at 3pm and there will be further entertainment from 6pm.

There will also be local market stalls inside the ground with food available and the bar open from noon.

And, it will be a Pay What You Want fixture - the admission price will be up to you.

Penistone Church, who were founded in 1906, have over 35 teams for both men and women, boys and girls, from the age of five to the over 45s.

And, they have announced that they will also have exciting news about ground redevelopment as they look forward to celebrating their 120th anniversary next year along with more festivities planned, including fun days and even European ties.
