Route One Rovers were knocked out of the Isuzu FA Vase as they were beaten 3-0 at Holker Old Boys on Tuesday night in one of twelve matches involving Macron NCEL sides in midweek.They went behind in the eighth minute before two goals in the last quarter of the game sealed their defeat in the Second Round Qualifying tie that had become a tough evening trip for them after Saturday's postponement.
There were also three Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup ties with victories for
Penistone Church,
Frickley Athletic and
Dearne & District in the First Round.
Samuel Scrivens struck four times as Church won 6-0 at AFC Dronfield with Leon Hurles-Brook and Nathan Keightley getting on the scoresheet whilst Cody Collins netted the only game of the game as Frickley overcame stubborn visitors SJR Worksop.
Meanwhile, Jamie Austin's double was added to by Adam Baskerville, Justin Circuit, Theo Wainman and Taylor Nicholson as Dearne beat Oughtibridge WMFC 6-2.
In the Premier Division,
Tadcaster Albion have extended their lead at the summit to seven points after Oli Johnson's 82nd minute decider secured a 1-0 victory for the Brewers at
Rossington Main.
Thomas McDonald's last gasp equaliser grabbed a point for
Barton Town in a 1-1 draw that lifts them up into second spot, after Danny Edwards had put visitors
Knaresborough Town ahead towards the start of the second period.
Eccleshill United ran out 4-1 winners at
Albion Sports, Hamza Diallo, Mark Ferguson, Cole Roberts and Joseph Storey were the scorers for the Eagles with Mohammed Qasim's consolation for the Lions.
And,
Horbury Town are off the bottom of the table, moving up to seventeenth with a priceless 1-0 home win over
Sheffield, Gibril Bojang with the vital strike midway through the second half.
In Division One,
Crowle Colts are up into fourth following their 3-3 draw at
Brigg Town in a game that looked to be heading for victory for the visitors before Joshua Jordan pounced to net an equaliser deep into stoppage time to ensure the spoils were shared.
Earlier, Henry Cook and Alfie Fudge had Crowle 2-0 ahead in the opening seven minutes, James Petronzio pulled one back for the Zebras but Ashton Short gave the away side a 3-1 advantage at the break.
Mason Ellender halved the deficit once more early in the second half and Brigg had to wait until the eighth minute of injury time for their dramatic leveller.
Armthorpe Welfare climb up to ninth, just behind
Maltby Main on goal difference, having beaten them 3-1 at the Marra Falcons Stadium, Cole Patrick, Bayley Lowe and Mitch Pattinson with their goals whilst Basile Zottos found the net for the Miners.
Thomas Hipwell's 78th minute strike proved to be the winner for
Appleby Frodingham as they beat hosts
Ilkley Town 3-2 after Kevin Gonzalez and then Joe Snowden had twice drawn the home side level following Joshua Fraiwald's opener and then an own goal from Nicholas Brayshaw.
And,
South Leeds were 2-1 home victors over
Glasshoughton Welfare, William Law and Shay Muirhead sandwiching an equaliser from William Mendonca to claim the win that moves them up into eleventh spot.
