Brewers start search for new boss
8th April, 2025
Tadcaster Albion have begun the search for a new manager following the club's decision to part company with manager Mick O'Connell.
The Brewers have ended the NCEL Premier Division in seventeenth position following a disappointing season and the board have decided a "refresh" is required to get ready for the new campaign at the end of July.
A statement released on the club's website said: "The directors would like to thank Mick for all his hard work over the last two seasons, especially all the hard work off the pitch supporting our community programme and working with sponsors.
"When he joined the club just after we had been relegated [from the Northern Premier League], he stabilised the on-pitch performance in his first season but failed to build on a good finish from last season with some very inconsistent results this season."
Anyone interested in applying for the position of manager is asked to send their CV to chairman Andy Charlesworth at andy.charlesworth17@gmail.com.
Closing date for applications is Monday 21st April, 2025.
