It was a great weekend for the leading clubs in the Macron NCEL as the top four in the Premier Division and the top five in Division One all claimed victories in their pursuit of a promotion push as we edge ever closer to the second half of the season.Liversedge preserved their four point gap at the summit of the Premier Division as they won 2-1 at
Golcar United in Friday night's top flight game.
Joseph Walton gave them the perfect start as he opened the scoring in the second minute and Lewis Barlow doubled their lead soon after the interval before Rico Kilbourn netted for the hosts around the hour mark.

Rossington Main were 2-1 home winners over
Horbury Town as the bottom two met at Kallut's Community Stadium in a game that only sparked into life in the last ten minutes.
Ross Hannah's penalty gave the hosts an 80th minute lead before Horbury levelled through a spot kick of their own.
Alexander Phillipson then struck in stoppage time to snatch the points for Rossington who move out of the relegation zone whilst their opponents are now five points adrift in the basement.
Frickley Athletic picked up three vital points to move up into fifteenth as Charlie Clegg and Lucas Robinson netted in the last quarter-of-an-hour for a 2-0 win at

Dearne & District maintain their three point advantage at the summit as Justin Circuit and Owen Fieldsend's first half strikes saw off visitors

Second-placed
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic won 2-1 at
Maltby Main to keep themselves in touching distance of the top, Jake Squires and Connor Glavin giving them a perfect start before Basile Zottos pulled one back for the Miners midway through the second half.
Harrogate Railway Athletic,
Wakefield AFC and
Leeds UFCA also claimed victories to make it a perfect weekend for the leading sides.
The Rail beat visitors
Winterton Rangers 4-1, Alex Ingham netting twice with one each for Sam Clothier and Dominic Creamer whilst Troy Taylor stuck for the visitors who stay next-to-bottom.
Wakefield claimed a comfortable 6-0 win at

Armthorpe Welfare lost a little ground in sixth as they drew 3-3 at
South Leeds, needing a second of the afternoon from Thomas Joynt on 87 minutes to secure a point in a rollercoaster game.
The league's top scorer was at it again as Zak Khan scored three to take his season's tally to 33 in a 6-2 win for
Route One Rovers over
Crowle Colts with Reece Thompson claiming his second hat-trick in three games in a dominant display by the hosts.
