But, Stewart struck again with eight minutes remaining to ensure the spoils were shared in an entertaining encounter at the Regal Interiors Stadium.
Despite the excellent result on their travels it was a bittersweet afternoon for the Vikings as 2-1 home wins for both
Eccleshill United and
Frickley Athletic mean that the gap between Goole and safety has grown to thirteen points.
Conversely, Silsden's disappointment would have been tempered by the fact that their lead at the top is now ten points as results elsewhere went their way.
Joshua McKiernon struck in the 80th minute for Eccleshill as they came from behind to beat second-placed
Golcar United on a massive afternoon for the Eagles, Hass Gorji with their equaliser after Alfie Wilkinson had given the away side the lead.
