An Alfie Wilkinson brace ensured Golcar United returned to the top of the NCEL Premier Division in midweek with a 2-1 home victory over Tadcaster Albion.His first came towards the end of the opening period but the Brewers levelled on 72 minutes through Luca Bolino before Wilkinson converted a spot kick to restore the home side's advantage and take the points.

Sports prevailed 4-2 on penalties after their West Riding County Cup First Round tie at league rivals
Knaresborough Town ended 1-1.
Cameron Bedford's equaliser restored parity for the hosts after Lewis Waddington's first half spot kick had put the Lions in front.
Meanwhile, Brodie Litchfield scored in first half stoppage time and, early in the second half, a Rio Allan penalty and a Calum Ward strike added to Hallam's tally at Penistone.
The home side almost completed a comeback with goals from Kieran Ryan and Samuel Scrivens but it was the visitors who took the points in a 3-2 victory that sees them up into sixth.
The Countrymen leapfrog

Barton Town, Mitchell Dunne and Oliver Fearon giving the Ambers a first half lead before Ali Spencer Aydemir and Thomas Waudby ensured the spoils were shared after the break.

Horbury Town's advantage at the top of Division One has grown to six points as they won 2-1 at home to third-placed
Dearne & District, Samuel Kyeremeh and Luke Playford netting towards the start of the second period.
Jamie Austin halved the deficit but the hosts took the victory in the top-of-the-table clash and they got even more good news as second-placed
Wombwell Town went down to a 3-1 home loss to
South Leeds.
James Law's double added to an opener from Scott Jones in the first quarter of the game for the seventh-placed visitors with a Paul Diamond own goal soon after getting the Wombwell on the scoreboard.
Ilkley Town jump into the top five after goals from Alfie Dean, Harry Brown and Kevin Gonzalez secured a 3-1 home victory over
Club Thorne Colliery.
Brigg Town and
Wakefield AFC both hit their opponents for half-a-dozen with Brigg winning 6-1 at
Louth Town, a hat-trick in the last ten minutes from George Graham cementing the victory.
And, there were two goals for Akeel Francis as Wakefield defeated visitors
Swallownest 6-2, Samuel Foulds also netting twice but in vain for the away side.
Sam Clothier grabbed the win in a dramatic 4-3 victory for
Harrogate Railway Athletic over visitors
Dronfield Town, his 85th minute strike finally claiming the points after the away side had thrice come from behind to equalise.
There were two goals each for Joshua Brown and Harley Holt as
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic won 5-3 at home to
Shelley and they climb out of the bottom three.
Matthew Dawes' strike and Harry Clapham's second of the evening saw
Selby Town come from behind to prevail 3-2 over visitors
Appleby Frodingham.
And, Kaiden Cheetham had seemingly given bottom side
Yorkshire Amateur a priceless win with his 85th minute goal but Alexander Clarke converted a penalty soon after to make it a 1-1 draw with visitors
Glasshoughton Welfare.
Elsewhere,
Maltby Main's home league game with
Athersley Recreation was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch whilst
Rossington Main go through to the next stage of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup after Swinton Athletic were unable to field a side for their First Round tie.
