Swann and Augusta come in at Immingham
19th October, 2026
Macron NCEL Division One side Immingham Town have unveiled Jawes Swann as their new manager with Mario Augusta as his assistant.
They take over in the dugout following the departure of Jon Davy last week and will now look to move the club off the bottom of the table and end an eleven-match winless streak.
A statement released by the club on social media said: "Both James and Mario bring a wealth of experience and ambition to the table, and the club firmly believe they are the right people to help move the club in the right direction.
"Everyone at Immingham Town is excited for the new chapter ahead, with the pair going straight into the dugout for Tuesday's match.
"We’re also delighted to announce the return of club legend, Luke Mascall. Mascall will be returning in a player/coach role.
"Masc played a huge part in last season's Lincolnshire League title, and we’re confident he can yet again be a huge asset to the club.
"We’d like to welcome James, Mario and Luke to their new roles and wish them every success as they take charge of the team.
"We look forward to seeing what they can achieve together and hope our supporters will get right behind them, starting on Tuesday!"
That first game sees Immingham host Athersley Recreation as they look to move out of the basement in Division One having been dumped there at the weekend by South Leeds.
South Leeds, meanwhile, have also announced a change in management team with chairman Reece Mudd taking over with Liam Mudd as his assistant.
They replace Steve Stennett who had been unveiled as their new boss at the start of September.

New manager search at Immingham
16th October, 2026
Those interested in taking over the vacant role of manager at Macron NCEL Division One side Immingham Town have until 5pm this Saturday (17th) evening to register their interest.
Jon Davy stepped down as boss on Wednesday by mutual agreement with the team currently in the bottom two of the table, five points away from safety.
The club were promoted to the NCEL in the summer, returning to the league after a 31-year absence, but the campaign has so far not gone to plan for the Woodlands Sports Ground side.
A statement released by Immingham said: "This is not a decision the club has taken lightly, and both Jon and the club feel that the time is right to bring his time as first-team manager to an end.
"Jon has been instrumental in the club's journey to Step 6 football, playing a significant role in the progress and development of the club both on and off the pitch.
"His dedication, passion and tireless commitment have helped us achieve things that everyone associated with Immingham Town can be immensely proud of.
"Whilst the two parties have now agreed to part ways, this should not overshadow the tremendous work Jon has done or the lasting impact he has made on our football club.
"Jon has been much more than just a first-team manager, and his contribution to the growth and progress of Immingham Town will always be remembered.
"On behalf of the board, players, volunteers and everyone associated with Immingham Town FC, we would like to place on record our sincere gratitude to Jon for everything he has given to the club.
"He leaves with our utmost respect and very best wishes for the future."
The search for a successor was also announced by the club with details of how to apply outlined on their social media and, after the weekend deadline, they say they will be in touch with prospective candidates.
