North Ferriby have taken advantage of a draw for second-placed Emley AFC on Friday night to move five points clear at the top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division with a home victory on Saturday.Emley twice had to come from behind at
Hemsworth Miners Welfare to take a point, James Knowles and Niall Heaton cancelling out leads given to the hosts by Ben Gelder and Jason Davis as the match finished 2-2.
Joshua Whiteley scored both of Ferriby's goals in a 2-0 home success over
Knaresborough Town to extend their advantage in front of the day's biggest crowd of 526.
Barton Town keep hold of third spot after beating visitors
Penistone Church, who drop to sixth, 3-1 at the Easy Buy Stadium, a Ryan Johnson own goal added to by a Chris Spinks brace for the Swans before a late consolation for Church from Nathan Keightley.

And, there were away wins for
Hallam, 2-0 at
Bottesford Town thanks to Liam Royles and Benjamin Copestake, and for
Frickley Athletic who beat
Golcar United 2-1 with Szymon Czubik and George Green getting their goals.
The top two in Division One met with leaders
Campion winning 3-1 at
Rossington Main, Aidan Day, Patrick Sykes and Andrew McCreadie scoring for the visitors with Ross Hannah getting on the scoresheet for the hosts.
Campion now have a six point cushion ahead of
Horbury Town who replace Rossington in second after their 4-1 win at
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic.
The game was tied at 1-1 going into the final ten minutes when Horbury took control with a second from James Cusworth and then further goals for Kieran Ceesay and Benjamin Agu.
Fatlum Ibrahimi and Jack Lazenby were the scorers as
Harrogate Railway Athletic prevailed 2-0 at home to
Selby Town, a victory that sees the Rail up to third with Rossington now in fourth.
Retford FC and
Dronfield Town climb to fifth and sixth, respectively, after victories with Charlie Baird, William Tomlinson and Ashley McEwan securing a 3-0 win for Retford at
Glasshoughton Welfare.
Dronfield came from behind, courtesy of a Callum Mawbey equaliser, a Connor Chapell penalty and their third of the afternoon from James Lindores as they beat visitors
Beverley Town 3-1.
There were also 3-1 victories for
Ollerton Town and
Staveley Miners Welfare with Jack Hollis-Smith and Lewis Bingham amongst the scorers for Ollerton at
Nostell Miners Welfare.
And, Reece Clegg scored twice in quick succession towards the start of the second period as Staveley took the points from their trip to
Wakefield AFC.
Alex Nightingale secured a point for
Swallownest in a 1-1 draw at
Athersley Recreation after Kyle Batchelor had given the home side a 44th minute lead.
Meanwhile, there were shoot-out victories for
Brigg Town and
Winterton Rangers to progress in the First Round of the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy.
Brigg beat hosts Sleaford Town 4-3 on spot-kicks following a 2-2 draw with Fraser Papprill and Scott Phillips scoring for the Zebras after the home side had taken an early 2-0 lead.
And, Winterton drew 1-1 at home with Holbeach United, Josh Walker with a 54th minute equaliser, before going through 3-1 on penalties.
