After a number of e-mails received from interested parties requesting the release date of fixtures for season 2008/09, the following statement is issued.

The compilation of fixtures for the Northern Counties East League is a complex matter that is dependant on many outside factors.

The League has to wait until fixtures have been received from all the Leagues and competitions above it in the National League System before it can begin its basic compilation of fixtures due to ground sharing and cross referencing to clubs in other competitions.

In addition, once the more senior Leagues' fixtures are known, then the requests and restrictions of NCE member clubs have to be considered.

As a result, it is envisaged that the fixtures for the forthcoming 2008-09 season will be available mid-July once we are in receipt of all information required from the other Leagues and competitions.
